Audiovisability is excited to be embarking on a brand new project, starting in September 2018. ‘Dressage’ will explore the fine art of equestrian sport, focusing on paralympian rider Laurentia Tan, who is profoundly deaf. Laurentia wishes to improve her understanding of the music she competes to.
Laurentia and her horse, Sherlock, will be working with a team of deaf musicians, technology specialists, artists, and writers at Audiovisability to explore ways of supporting her full understanding of music. As ‘hearing’ music does not come easily in the arena for Laurentia, Audiovisability will be exploring ways to enhance her learning experience for her future games.
We are delighted to be working with Laurentia and a number of other professionals over the coming months on this project.
